Who Are We?

ASPRO is the organization which represents and advocates for the unique interests of only the Academic Staff professionals employed by the University of Wisconsin System.  We are NOT a union.  We are a voluntary, membership-supported lobbying organization which formed in order to join the voices of the largest group of UW System employees --- over 12,000 academic professionals that account for approximately 35% of all UW System employees (and nearly twice the number of the UW System faculty).

ASPRO, as a collective voice, speaks for the interests of the Academic Staff with the UW System Administration, the Board of Regents, the Governor and State Legislators.  And ASPRO has been successful in its efforts.
